Janine Oleski - M.A. CCC, C.Hyp.

Until you make what is unconscious conscious, it will direct your life, and you will call it fate.

I have over 15 years of experience and training. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and have provided clinical services through the St. Boniface Hospital Department of Clinical Health Psychology and the Victoria General Hospital Department of Research and Evaluation. I have also worked in epidemiology, as well as organized hospital and community research projects on the efficacy of mental health services.

I hold a unique perspective of our mental health system and deeply understand the complexities involved in navigating through it. I am currently completing a PhD in Transformative Inquiry where I am exploring nested models of post-traumatic growth, the transformation of consciousness, and spiritual awakening. I am also a certified clinical supervisor and provide professional supervision for emerging psychotherapists.

I bring a diverse background of experience and therapeutic strategies into my work with clients. I have extensive training in the following: person-centered therapy, Jungian models, cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, emotion-focused therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, group therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, narrative therapy, internal family systems, crisis intervention, psychodynamic psychotherapy, and experiential psychotherapy. I am also a certified hypnotherapist.

I use a trauma-informed, intuitive, empathic and compassionate approach in my practice. I genuinely want to help clients see a way through what they are experiencing, while also recognizing that sometimes we are challenged by things we must face to heal our patterns. I bring a unique balance of guided support, and empowerment as a therapist.

I work with a holistic approach using techniques which best suit a client’s needs, assisting them to assimilate their experience and achieve a more balanced state of being.

I also feel energetic vibrations intuitively and can sense the multidimensional experiences of others. My academic research is focused on deepening our understanding of subtle and spiritual energy, in the hopes of bringing this more broadly into use within clinical contexts.

Haseena Singh - MA. CCC

Hi, I’m Haseena.

I work with teens, young adults, and adults who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or going through a difficult time.

Whether you’re navigating a specific concern or simply feel like something in your life isn’t quite where you want it to be, therapy can be a space to slow things down, make sense of what’s been coming up, and feel less alone

in it.

My approach is collaborative and trauma-informed. I draw from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, emotion-focused work, and mindfulness-based strategies, while tailoring therapy to each person and what they need.

I believe therapy should feel like a safe and comfortable space where you can show up as you are, without judgment

Clients often describe me as warm, grounded, and easy to talk to. My goal is to help you feel understood, gain a better understanding of yourself, and work toward meaningful change in a way that feels manageable and genuine to you.

Leanne Hubbauer- Psychotherapist, Practicum Student

Hi! I’m Leanne. I’m a psychotherapist in training currently completing my Master’s in Counselling Psychology. I bring 15 years of experience in education to my counselling work, including eight years as a teacher and seven years as a school counsellor.

I completed my Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in School Counselling at the University of Manitoba in 2017 and have spent the past three years completing my graduate coursework while continuing to work full-time as a school counsellor.

I primarily work with youth and teens, while also providing counselling to adults and families. I have a particular interest in supporting postpartum mothers and fathers as they navigate the transition into parenthood.

As a mother of two active boys myself, I understand firsthand the many emotions, expectations, pressures, and changes that can come with becoming and being a parent.

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe that feeling comfortable, understood, and respected is an important part of the therapeutic process, and I place a strong emphasis on building a trusting therapeutic relationship. I draw from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), psychodynamic therapy, and narrative therapy, adapting my approach to each person’s individual needs, experiences, and goals.

I have experience supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, insomnia, and a variety of personal and life challenges. I strive to create a welcoming and non-judgmental space where you can feel safe, understood, and supported as you explore the thoughts, emotions, and experiences that may be difficult to navigate on your own. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and you are the expert in your own life.

My role is to walk alongside you, helping you develop greater self-understanding, recognize your strengths, build effective coping strategies, and work toward meaningful change in a way that feels authentic to you.
